What a gem of a place to stay in Santorini! Alex is an incredible host and his mum cooks the most wonderful breakfast accompanied by fresh bread and pastries from the local bakery. I couldn’t recommend 1812 Caves 'n Mansion more highly. Nicely removed from the hectic hustle and bustle of Santorini centre but within easy walking distance. Excellent service. Mr. Alex, like the rest of the staff, is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are tastefully furnished in a typical Greek rural style. Breakfast is rich with local ingredients. The staff makes you feel at home. I recommend!

Although it was a brief stay (2 nights), Alex, his mom and his team went out of their way to make it very enjoyable and memorable.  The rooms were very clean, and very spacious.  The breakfast that was included was abundant and of great quality.  They were so nice and made sure we enjoyed everything of the breakfast, from the juice. to the bread and croissants, to the omelet etc.  The location was very convenient, very close to some main roads to take a bus or a taxi, but in the little alleys, there is no view to enjoy,  But it really takes nothing away from the hotel.  If we were there longer, maybe it may have bothered me more, but our limited time made no difference since we were out all day and night.

Επισκεφθηκαμε τη Σαντορίνη για πρώτη φορά και διαλέξαμε το 1812 για τις πολύ καλές κριτικές του και για αυτό που βλέπαμε στις φωτογραφίες. Η πραγματικότητα όμως είναι πολύ καλύτερη!!! Το δωματιο που μείναμε αλλά και τα άλλα που ειδαμε, καθώς και όλος ο εξωτερικός χώρος είναι πανέμορφα από κάθε άποψη, φτιαγμένα με μεράκι, γούστο και αγάπη!!! Οι οικοδεσπότες, Αλέξανδρος και κα Εφη ξεπερνούν τις προσδοκίες σε εξυπηρέτηση, ευγένεια και πληροφορίες! Πάντα πρόθυμοι να σε βοηθήσουν σε ό,τι χρειαστείς! Το πρωινό πλούσιο και υπέροχο! Νιώσαμε σαν στο σπίτι μας και σίγουρα είναι ένας λόγος που θα θελαμε να ξανά βρεθούμε σε αυτό το μαγικό νησί! Το 5 είναι απλά λίγο!!!

Κάναμε το γαμήλιο ταξίδι μας στο συγκεκριμένο ξενοδοχείο.  Πήγαμε χωρίς να έχουμε ιδέα για το που θα πάμε και τι θα κάνουμε στο νησί. Οι ιδιοκτήτες μας κατατοπισαν για τα πάντα (φαγητό,  ποτό, θάλασσα, βόλτα) σε πολύ λογικές τιμές. Το πρωινό του ξενοδοχείου ήταν υπερπλήρες και πολύ νόστιμο, νιώσαμε σαν το σπίτι μας. Το δωμάτιο ήταν καθαρό,  άνετο και πλήρης εξοπλισμένο με κλιματισμό και πάντα ζεστό νερο. Οι ιδιοκτήτες ήταν πάντα στην διάθεση μας , πάντα με πολύ καλή διάθεση.
